Meet Dr. Nista
ABOUT DR. MARK NISTA
Dr. Nista grew up locally in Oakmont after his parents moved their family to the Pittsburgh area in 1973. He attended The Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1990, with an emphasis on vertebrate physiology.
After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Southern Illinois University in 1994, Dr. Nista completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Following his residency, he practiced dentistry in a Native American clinic in the western United States before returning home to Western Pennsylvania.
Nista Family Dental Center was established in 1999 and has since remained committed to providing trusted, high-quality dental care to the local community.
